Great pics Sam Tyler - thanks for the research and posting them up!
Out of interest, here's a thread from the forum "Internet movie cars database" IMCDB - about the cars used in the film;
www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=81070
Section here which shows the red Merc convertible used in the film, says it was still on the road till 1993 but one of the posters say he has still owns it but in a derelict state, (post made January 6th 2014). Says it's too far gone, but I'm surprised it would be uneconomic as these W113 Mercs are worth quite a bit now and the LGF car would surely add a premium to its value...... but I'm no expert on those cars and have no idea of its current state, and there appears to be no photos about: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_28138-Mercedes-Benz-280-SL-W113-1970.html
Shand'ss black Jag didn't last long and last tax expiry was in 1984!
There was a good documentary made in 2006 on Youtube:
although there appears to be another shorter 37 minute one too. The one I saw had interviews with the late Bob Hoskins, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and the Directors etc. Interesting insights too. The famous long scene of Shand's face at the end in the car was filmed separately and Brosnan wasn't there while his part (in the same scene) holding the gun on Shand in the front of the Jag was also filmed separately!

I took a wander down to Wapping today:
Then: As the party of Harry and his guests drive towards the Lion and Unicorn pub down Scandrett Street towards Wapping High Street, the pub (which was a mock-up, not a real pub) is blown up by another IRA bomb:
Now: The school building with its ornate 'banner' over the door remains but the wall to the right has been rebuilt with a new fence and the remainder of the redevelopment is clearly noticeable:
There are more shots that I took but these will follow when I've visited another location as they form part of a series.
Sam.

Great photo there Sam.
Apart from the architecture on St Johns, everything has changed.

Another to be getting on with...
Then: Victoria walks away from the pub and tries to bluff the yanks that natural gas can cause leaks, before taking them off to 'Justines' for their meal:
Now: The tree that was blocking the buildings at the further end of Scandrett Street has been pruned but overall little appears to have changed:
