It's a superb clip and I'm definitely going to get the DVD. Agree it's west London. A treat for those that hadn't seen the clip, myself included!

Btw, the blag clip is edited, there's much more of a lead up to it in the show itself.

Nice one Gene/Steed I promise you won't regret getting the DVD! There's also a good 30 minute documentary extra too featuring GF Newman, Les Blair, Ken Campbell, Derek Martin and others too although surprisingly given his lengthy part in the show no Peter Dean.

Strange considering he appeared on 'Pointless' in recent years. According to wikipedia he describes himself as Buddhist, apparently the pewter tankard he always drank from in the Queen Vic in Eastenders was to disguise the fact that he doesn't drink, it contained lemonade. Have you seen 'The Nation's Health' Dirty? Another controversial set of plays made in more or less exactly the same manner as L&O. Made by Euston Films for channel 4 this time, here's some info in case anyone is interested- www.televisionheaven.co.uk/nations_health.htm

That's a quality blag and a half is that! Nice one Mickyosan, I've got the DVD but so far have only watched half an hour of the first episode, must crack on and finish watching it. To my eyes it looks like it was filmed last week such is the image quality. Location wise it's definitely West London, I spotted a brief glimpse of the Westway near Westbourne Park and Paddington where the '67 Minivan appears at around 4.0mins in. Also noticed the June '77 tax disc in the Minivan as well as its 'LN' London area reg' number identifier. The reg' number of the Jag rings a bell, I'm sure it's been used in another TV series somewhere. Just watched it again and caught a glimpse of 'W10' on the road name sign as the Landrover pulls out of the side road. Time machine...? Yes please chief Villain Absolutley brill mickeyosan , fan Dabby Dosey! I'll have to buy box set.. Villain I'm working on a time machine as we speak! Lol
