I think I might include Sound & Vision, Absolute Beginners and music from When the Wind Blows (especially the opening track). In the latter, didn't he join up with Roger Waters?

My top 5 Bowie tracks are the same as Dels but I substitute Starman for Ashes to Ashes, just slightly prefer that one

There are so many great songs to choose from it's almost pointless in trying but for what it's worth here are my favourites, in no particular order except for "Life On Mars?" which I think is almost perfect:
