Also, a chap who runs a Facebook group about the cars used in The Professionals insists his Grandfather still owns the car but it is in a poor state needing total restoration and kept in his barn, 30 miles from where the poster lives. He says he can't get any photos as he doesn't get up there much and his Grandad is too old and unwell to do anything with it and the barn is too dark to photograph the car in.
Hmmm........ Where have we heard stories like that before. There again, SOO636R the X pack Professionals MK2 Capri, Doyle's car, is said to be definitely under restoration (I've no reason to disbelieve) and that's been off the road longer than this Cortina, so you never know......
