Did anyone catch The Chris Evans Breakfast Show this morning on radio 2? Interview with 10cc about their upcoming tour and there is a programme on tomorrow night Friday 4th BBC4 to tell the story of 'Im Not In Love' their most famous hit.
Can you believe this song is 40 years old ?
Great interview, didn't notice that none of the lyrics rhyme.
I would never have guessed that song is 40 years old. Talk about timeless lyrics and style. Listening to the radio these days most songs seem to be breakup songs or falling in love songs, most quite woeful. That song is a sharp contrast to what is around now. I like 'Dreadlock Holiday'. I always thought it was a different band who recorded it. Love a song that tells a bit of a story.

It's well worth watching. I never knew quite how many other projects had been influenced by members of 10cc. I knew about Graham Gouldmans hits for The Hollies and Hermans Hermits and that Eric worked with Sad Cafe, but i had no clue that they were in some form involved in over 100 top 40 hits As Gene said earlier who knew that Godley and creme knocked out many iconic 80 vids for top artists

I saw them at the Hammersmith Odeon, in around '84. When my mate lit up one of my Rothmans the woman in front of us's hair caught light. Happy memories, though probably not for her.
