Reminds me of the Harry Enfield sketches with the 'I saw you coming' shop that sells overpriced 'shabby chic' to rich Chelsea types. They managed to convince the public that records were obselete, despite them sounding far better than cds, now they're marketing them back to us as luxury items. You can argue that much the same con trick has taken place with everything we consume.
Downloaded content has to be the biggest con- who would've predicted that people would happily pay for a product that doesn't physically exist?

Vinyl buyers are lonely, middle-aged introverts, according to new study.....
It's a YouGov Poll which says "Vinyl buyers are slightly more likely to both keep their feelings to themselves (56% vs. 53%) and enjoy being alone (69% vs 66%)."
Is that not because the middle aged buyers of vinyl are simply too busy stopping in and listening to their records ?

Careful DE, lumping us in with trainspotters, whatever next? You'll be starting a thread on the best Thermos flask before we know it!

I can tell you now what the best Thermos flask is.... One that's full of malt scotch.

There's a world of difference between a Thermos flask and a hip flask Guv.
The hip flask can be discreetly hidden in a pocket - but it can't hold anywhere near as much single malt as a Thermos can!
Pros and cons for both.
Perhaps there's a market for the Kardashian sized hip flask?
Sam.
