Is anyone as excited as me about the prospect of seeing Jeff Lynne in concert next year?
He opens the tour in Liverpool in April and I managed to get tickets via a priority booking service through my oxygen related telephone provider.
Loved ELO from the the first time I heard the opening chords of Livin' Thing back in 1976. The first thing I put on every fruit based music player I've owned was an ELO playlist.
The concert he did in Hyde Park last year was extraordinary, the reaction even taking Jeff by surprise. So he's back.
ELO Rule!

Great news to hear that Jeff is doing some concerts again. I saw ELO in '76 with my late brother. ( His girlfriend couldn't make it, so he took me instead.) Still love their music. Charles.

I thought ELO were good too. Not the best but certainly a great band with a string of albums and hits.
I had a number of their albums, like most people had Out Of The Blue, but for me their best album was Discovery with tracks such as Last Train to London, On The Run, and Don't Bring Me Down.

I was signed up for the presale but couldn't get any tickets yesterday. I really HATE Ticketmaster with a passion!!! About time these middle men were shown the door.
The tour is to support the new album but as Jeffs a top bloke you can bet there will be some old favourites in there.

I think the ELO concert will be the gig of the year. They have such a tremendously strong back catalogue of hits, and I would think the band would enjoy playing the old stuff just as much as their new material. It should be really good fun and something to look forward to.

Excellent That's a good date, I trust you'll be flying the flag of St George while you're there - and I don't mean one of the insulting footie versions with 'England' plastered across, you must have a true unmolested flag of St George.
