Vote for the best episode from Series 2
You may vote for up to 3 episodes My favourite is Poppy, for me an episode with all the classic Sweeney ingredients: - One of the best villains in Vic Labbett
- Fantastic women - Kay Nolan and Mrs Labbett
- Classic Sweeney banter - motorway breakfast, squeeze her toothpaste, etc
- A great car chase
I also voted for Faces and Thou Shalt Not Kill. The Saint

Golden Fleece & Trojan Bus. I really like the two Aussie episodes. They've got a nice little deal on with Cheryl Kennedy's character by getting the Krugerrands list . The way they ultimately get away with it in the first one and mug Regan and Carter off is refreshing to see.
The second one builds well from the nice scam at the start right through to the London Bus theft, and the St Katherine's Dock finale where they nearly get away with it again. 70's London in summer looks really cool in these episodes too.
Thou shall not kill. This is another episode that builds up suspense throughout. Haskins bottling it leads to big problems at the end which is quite violent. A deliberate running over of a copper, a crash in the Jag getaway car that leaves a girl scared for life, and the squad having to put a bullet in Terry Wans to stop him. The violence in this one is well placed and not at all gratuitous and I think it really gets quite close to some of the Flying Squads real ops, which of course was an objective of the show with its inside info.
The whole of series 2 is good. There's genuinely not one bad episode throughout in my book. I see this point is reflected in the voting as all bar one has had a vote. It's a tough choice

That's my three from series 2.
Difficult choice though.

Poppy, I Want The Man, and Thou Shalt Not Kill are my choice.
Tough choice as Faces and Country Boy would also be in the running.

Another difficult choice; as mentioned previously Season 2 is all good although I could discount the two Ray & Col episodes fairly easily as they are my least favourite.
I've gone for Hit & Run: A superb episode. The scenes with George & Alison juxtaposed with the shot of George at the end through the window are very poignant. I have recently seen some of the locations recently too which all helps. It has some good lines too "haven't you heard Jack Regan's sonnets?"
I've also gone for Trap: This episode has Jack going off radar to clear him from corruption. Great moments from this one include the line "I'm going to hit that filth like an air raid", and shows Regan using all his nous.
Finally, Thou Shalt Not Kill: This one shows the tense standoff between The Squad and the would be robbers. A great episode.
I could easily have gone for I Want The Man (Roy Kinnear is a favourite of mine) or Supersnout. Look forward to seeing how this vote plays out.

There really is no bad episode in Series 2. all are good which makes choosing just three as the best very difficult.
So I went for :- Chalk & Cheese Country Boy Poppy
