Glad to hear that the meet went really well. Cool pics ! Liked the 'characters' dressed to impress. Nice one Del Boy and Gene Hunt. (Hope Gene Hunt arrived in a bronze Cortina Mk3 GXL or a red Audi Quattro ). Great Retro Channel top Sam Tyler. I'm sure they will be in demand. Nice to see some classic motors in the pics. Anyway Congrats on this forum's first location meet.

Boycie was a top wheelsman on the day.Very Cooney-like in his driving.A great little bit was, every time he went under a bridge,he put the two-tones on.A great touch in the period-piece grannie! He did it once near Putney, and in front of us was a very nice, modern Mercedes.I have never seen three people in a Merc look so worried!!"Dunno what their problem is" said Boycie."The Police ain't used these things for f****ng years".Class!!! Yes, I’m nosing through your old case notes again, and very entertaining, I might add! And some beautiful cars taking centre stage! But could someone enlighten me as to the above?

Which bit? The two tones? I know you think I do a very good impression of a useless bimbo, Guv, or is that only when you’re jealous of Danny Moore? . But yes, I did understand every other word in the post ... are they lights or sirens or?

Not a problem Bols. If you don't ask you'll never know!
Two tones refers to the siren on the old Police cars.
If you look at my clip from a Sweeney Meet in 2010 below, you hear a modern siren at the start but towards the end, you hear one of our boys coming towards the camera in his motor with a 70's two tone blaring away.
Gene.

Gene. Aha! God, you couldn’t have timed the modern ones any better ... who called 999 to set that up? :p Yes, thanks, I know them now I’ve heard them! I’m amazed you can get hold of such things though!
