I can't hear Ace Of Spades now without thinking of The Young Ones going on University Challenge.
Great song, great series, but Lemmy was so much more than that.

RIP Lemmy and John Bradbury - heard about Lemmy via the Faceache but didn't know about Brad - saw The Specials only in 2011 at Coventry. Apparently John Bradbury played a reunion Gig with The Specials only about a month ago

RIP Ian Fraser Kilminster... goodbye Lemmy, you will be missed. Saw Motorhead at the old Hummingbird in Brum back in December '89, we were stood right by the speakers at the side of the stage which gave me a pounding headache, Lemmy (mid song) saw me looking the worse for wear and came over to the corner of the stage, looked down at me and shouted ''alright mate?'', winked and launched into a mindbending bass solo. Top geezer! My ears were ringing for days afterwards but it was one of the best gigs I'd ever been to. Villain

The musician Guru Josh, who had his biggest hit with Infinity in 1990 as rave culture swept Britain, has died aged 51. So sad. RIP

Stevie Wright, vocalist with 1960s band The Easybeats, who had a big worldwide hit with 'Friday on my Mind' in 1966, has died aged 68. Much bigger in their native Australia than the UK, they were the Beatles and Stones rolled into one.
