I think at least two of those photos are gratuitous Villain. Gene.

Great snaps of the old girl. Cheers Villain I don't know about you guys but I must say the body kit is very aggressive and its racing derived look doesn't do a lot for the car. Looking at the now photos it looks like a complete resto is needed. Considering the resto and the purchase price, could this be 100K worth of motor when its done ? Here's one in racing trim. In this livery I reckon it looks the nuts

Surprised it made as much as it did, an ungainly looking car imo & I wouldn't have thought that The New Avengers connection was that much of a draw, it's not a particularly fondly remembered show & I know MacNee himself wasn't happy with it.

It is indeed ungainly Arthur, a track look with plain coachwork doesn't work well IMO. The wheels could have been better too. I must admit i don't know too much about The New Avengers. I've only seen half a dozen episodes and think they're OK.

I agree with you, the car certainly looks much better in the racing livery and it would certainly be conspicuous as a road car.
62 bags is a big price though and they're going to need more than a bottle of T-Cut to get that sorted.

Great to see and looks like they are doing a proper job on it The Saint I think it's fair to say it's in very good hands, CCC aren't that well known but really do know their stuff and do quality work, they're the current custodians of the Italian Job Lamborghini Miura too (chassis no. 3586). Really glad to see Steed's XJC is coming along nicely, I've been reading about it on Pistonheads. Jay Leno has just done a video on the XJC... Villain
