I was waiting for the history teacher talking about Prussia to suddenly say "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off"

Excellent film Regan! Brings back happy memories! I remember starting secondary school in 79' and it was very much just like this documentary. I was known as the 'clown of the class' and one year, they were the only words which were written in my school report from my form teacher. I used to dred parents evening and always made sure I was in bed before my parents returned home. I've got many memories from from flooding the boys toilets to setting off fire extinguishers lol.. I liked the bit in the film where the kids were doing metal work! That was one of my favourite subjects, I remember causing complete chaos in the class, when everybody for their exam had to make something constructive out of metal! On the other hand I purswaded most of my fellow class mates to make cannon's on the engineering lathes' these actually worked! I used to use match heads as gun powder and cotton wool as wadding, and remember in the school playground firing a ball bearing about 5ft' out of one of these things, a big laugh out loud.. Of course things came to a stand still when I started making Chinese ninja stars' and then throwing them around in playground in the grass, unfortunately one caught a mates leg... Of course the most fun was in car maitenance' where we had a Vauxhall avenger and a hill man hunter, in which we were supposed to do basic jobs on, like change the oil etc, but I was thrown out of the class for what's known as "doing a Sweeney" which was the term Myself and my mates used to call it, which consisted of throwing each other over the bonnet of the cars' I wonder where I got the name from lol :()
