They are just trying to get in on the very popular Real Ale scene. They also do a Porter which i tried and which isn't bad actually. I hope the big corporates don't do a Tesco and force smaller companies out of the market. The real Ale scene in London is quite big now with many of the brewers being very small firms indeed.

Very true Del there's some really good indie Ale's out there at the moment. Been trying to find this stuff in the supermarket with no joy at the moment, might try my local offy just in case.

I've only seen it on tap at one or two pubs.

I saw the advert for this. Seems to be for beard types ... If the pub offers nothing better, then I'll give it a go.

Aiming this beer at hipsters seems a mistake ( scruffy looking fellows with beards, tight jeans & tattoos ) as no hipster worth his salt would be seen drinking it, they go for the genuine real ales or brew it themselves, or so I've read, I don't know any hipsters & they certainly aren't welcome at the Barley Mow My favourite tipple is Adnams Broadside, 6.3%

Haven't tried the Adnams Tiger, but will give it a go next time I'm in the Barley Mow. I agree, aiming this beer at those types seems a strange direction to take.
