Love the scene in Mrs Rix's back garden.
It's a classic - including Uncle Billy getting nicked!

It is a classic scene Stan from one of my favourite Sweeney episodes. This one has a good balance of action and fun. John & Diana really shine in their scenes together. We mustn't forget what a good actress Diana Dors was.

One of the best scenes is when Diana falls back onto the cake. Amidst laughter from Uncle Billy, Mrs Rix clouts Regan.
Either exceptional acting all round & / or a definite glancing blow. Certainly the look on Regan's face is authentic!

Part of a 'where are they now?' article about the cast of Please Sir spin off 'The Fenn St. Gang' from a 1973 TV Times, some info on Lukey Sparrow, Malcolm McFee-

Interesting article Arthur, not sure I believe the bit about his agent refusing acting work though!

Malcolm was a presenter on the schools programme 'Science Workshop', below is a youtube clip, Lukey appears about 5 mins in & none other than Jellineck from 'Night Out' is a co presenter! Funnily enough the uploader of the video has what appears to be a Sparrow as their logo. Also saw this message from his daughter Victoria on a 'Please Sir' thread, it's the 5 comment from the bottom here- www.classictelly.com/programme.php?Programme=Please_Sir
