Theres an episode with some architectural important builders, the one where a geezer is trying to get Jack to nick his daughters iffy boyfriend. They are just building them when its filmed, sort of multilevel flats. That was "Down To You Brother" and the location is Rowley Way, South Hampstead.
Sam.
That's it. Those flats are now special, I think.

Found this about the buildings: -
They should have added "also best cop show ever filmed here".
Wonder why no mortgages?
About to fall apart?

Just watched this episode. I must have seen this before but I really don't remember it
It's quite an unusual one isn't it?
Sometimes when the writers try something different it doesn't work but this one is very effective
Good to see Kenny Lynch in the cast too

The Dino would have been a great investment if he kept hold of it! The Saint

A six month ban for running a red seems harsh by todays standards.

From a Kenny Lynch obituary in The Daily Telegraph- "An enthusiast for fast, expensive cars, Lynch appeared in court in 1965 accused of driving his Aston Martin sports car down the Mall at 70mph. In 1991 he was handed a three-month suspended prison sentence for his third drink-driving offence. In 2005 he was banned from driving for three years after being stopped on the M40 at 3am on his way home from a charity event in London".

What a naughty boy then...!!!
Back to this episode...
I don't know if it has been mentioned before (sorry if so!) but I love some of the quirky little camera angles and directorial flourishes this episode has.
I particularly like the scene at the Cunard Hotel where the camera is at carpet level!!! I have always enjoyed that little bit!
