Got back into Sweeney mode again last night with this one which I enjoyed, one of the ones filmed in early 76, I assume because of the silver P regd Granada and the white mark 3 Cortina 2.0GT. Good storyline with the villain who Jack failed to nick years ago and had since established himself in business with the proceeds.
One thing i like like about The Sweeney overall is the fact that, occasionally, the villains do get away with it, adds to the realism

Perhaps, one day, after nearly five years of waiting, we will finally get the seriously delayed Blu-ray releases for the rest of The Sweeney from Network, which should include a guide with the production dates for this series, together with the ones for Series 2 and 4. We know production on the first Sweeney film started in April 1976, so I presume the final batch of S3 episodes was filmed from May through to August. Half of this series was filmed in autumn 1975.

That's the furthest back change of a female Blue Peter presenter I can remember! /\
