On again yesterday on ITV4 so I just had to record and watch it yet again, for about the 20th time! Given up on trying to make sense of the plot now and I just enjoy it! Still remember watching it for the first time in September 76 love the nostalgia. I love this episode despite the plot. It's obvious that John & Dennis enjoyed it too. Sawalha was excellent as Shebeq. The "Up yours McFarland" scene was class. For me it's an enjoyable farce Visiting Fireman and despite the plot holes etc. but it's a very enjoyable and easy episode. Worth it for Thaw and Waterman's musical interlude alone.

Yes, an enjoyable episode despite plot holes you could drive a bus through
Would anyone other than Troy Kennedy Martin have got away with such an incoherent plot?
Is this the most nonsensical episode of The Sweeney? If not, what is?

I think Hearts and Minds is sillier, and also much less enjoyable. Visiting Fireman somehow works.
