I was saddened to hear of The Queens passing today. A fine example of a monarch she was respected around the world. R.I.P your Majesty Yes she was respected around the world. In Australia no matter whether people favour a republic or are a fan of the royal family everyone acknowledges and respects the commitment and work all her life. What a life. To be meeting the new Prime Minister only a few days ago and working up to the age of 96. Remarkable woman, remarkable life. R.I.P. Queen Elizabeth II.

That's pretty much how I felt and was going to post too BG. Regardless of whether you're pro or anti-Monarchy, what she was and 'stood for' Elizabeth had a duty and generally she carried that duty out well and was very well respected for it too. Sadly this wasn't unexpected at 96 but her role and life can in my opinion be looked as generally being of good and of strength in a world that has (right or wrong) changed so much over the last 70 years. RIP Queen Elizabeth

RIP Your Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the unshakeable service to our country for 70 years and for representing the United Kingdom for all that time.
She made an impact on the many nations she visited and it will just just not be the same without her. May her legacy last on the world. God Bless and May she Rest In Peace.

I very rarely comment on RIP posts but I wanted to thank the admin for the banner at the top of the page, a nice touch. RIP QEII, long live the King.
