The ease with which they rob the bank is hard to swallow today, it's harder to log on to your online bank account than it was for them to steal that gold. They turn up as a very unlikely looking mob of cleaners & manage to smuggle welding gear in laundry baskets past a couple of dozy security men, they seem to be in & out within minutes of arriving. That does indeed lack any credibility
The two security men are hilarious. Nodding through "the cleaners", and then just smoking and staring mindlessly at the TV screens - until the villain's cunning fake footage runs out the empty vault is revealed.
Gold always strikes me as a pretty impractical thing to steal - very heavy and very hard to sell, cash, on the other hand....
Me? I'd mastermind a wages blag

Am sat here as I type watching this episode on ITV 4 Absolutely superb Episode 👌👍 The obnoxious Harry character is a good addition, you can also smell the odious man. I find Dudley Sutton as a main villain not as believable. Still an enjoyable watch!

Not a classic, but I like this one. Lots of great location scenes, George chasing Deller & Fuller, Lords, London Airport and the vintage arcade game in the pub!

Repeated this morning.... tend to have ITV4 on in the background while working most days. Reminded of another quality line, expertly delivered by the DI. "Hello Mr Deller, we are in good shape aren't we. My name's Regan, Flying Squad. I think you'd better stop, it would be better for both of us. You're nicked, and I'm not authorised or insured to drive this car!!"
