The White Hart closed down ? Aah blast! A Guinness in there is always a pleasure. Or rather was. Never mind, there's enough decent places on this tour to compensate.

Sadly, on the Saturday lunch time we won't be able to go to the nearby pub that we have in the past (The White Hart) as it closed it's doors permanently in 2021. Gene. That's sad. The gaff had a certain charm about it that suited the vibe nicely

There are other nearby options though so we will be OK. If you're planning to join us for a couple of drinks on the Saturday afternoon, give me a call when you arrive at the hotel and I'll tell you exactly where we are (which will be close by). Gene. That’s sad news, it was a good pub. The Saint

As Del and everyone says a brilliant pub which had very, very good Guinness and was a nice starting point/pit stop for our meets around there too. The fondest memory was the 2019 darts match with Gene, Del, Steed and I which we could not finish... had few by then, I still don't know who won that? I suppose even pre-Covid a lot of these pubs were struggling to survive and sadly it's claimed The White Hart, I'm just glad being on the meets has given me a opportunity to experience these pubs... some of which are now gone.

That's a shame Gene, as I was looking forward to a few jars in The White Hart next weekend. At least there's several other options as you mention above. Vi
