Morris Perry’s son Frank has posted on Twitter that his father died on Sunday aged 96.
Best known for his role as Det. Chief Supt. Maynon, Morris also appeared in Dr Who, Special Branch, and The Bill, to name but a few

RIP Morris, Maynon was a great counter character between Regan and Haskins especially in the earlier series. Thanks for your contribution to some pretty good film & TV Morris.

Sad news. Always will remember him as Maynon in the Sweeney.
He had a good innings though.
