Not a product, but I once worked with a guy called Richard Head. I mean …………..really, why would you do that.

I saw another one yesterday, a car called a Peugeot Rifter. Do they know that rifting is an old Lancashire word for belching?

Another car one I saw yesterday, I think it was a Kia (all modern cars look exactly the same to me) and it was called Niro. Is naming a car after a mad Roman emporer a good idea?

I know what you mean Carty. So many are incredibly similar Euro box's I struggle to see what some of the styling is about, for example with the aggresive looking harsh lines on some of the SUVs on the market(see below) I don't get pickup trucks in this country either

Like àrchitecure, cars now just seem to be getting more and more ugly. The only modern cars which aren't are those based on past designs, like the Fiat 500 and VW new beetle. They're about the only ones now that I recognise.
Why is design now so bad? Trains are the same, I thought the old diesel and electric units all looked ok, in Friday I got the train into Manchester from Stockport and a Transport for Wales train came in, I've no idea what type, as, like cars, I'm only interested in and can identify old stuff, but it looked awful, it looked like some on had stuck a portaloo on the front. Villain might know what it was.

Sadly the SUV/Crossover type of vehicle is what the market wants and with a few exceptions (more of the executive models) the traditional saloon and estates are finished now. Even hatchbacks are getting thin on the ground too.
