Agree with Gene - report on the evening with Roger Moore essential.
Especially any stories with Tony Curtis.
Villain - further set of excellent pictures posted; appreciated.

These pictures are just so evocative of the era.
The episode with Joan Collins is one of the best.
Another excellent batch.

Going too see Roger Moore on Monday,he' appearing at the Cambridge corn exchange, looking forward to what should be a very entertaining night.Great pictures Villain!! Well? How'd it go Ron ? Sorry Gene,it's been a bit hectic last week with that lot South of the river. So the Roger Moore night was very good indeed. They played The Saint Theme,Persuaders theme etc before he came on.Also a giant screen had stills from just about everything he had been in to get you in the mood.On came Roger to a very warm applause,he started off by talking about his childhood. Then life in the army to how he got into acting. He actually went to school with Lois Maxwell who later went on to become Miss Moneypenny.I really enjoyed the Saint and Persuaders stories,Lew Grade got him out of Hollywood where he wasn't really happy and gave him the big break of starring in the Saint.Apart from quite a big chunk of Bond he really is proud of The Man Who Haunted Himself. He was able to have a lot of control of want went on and they showed the Rover P5 speeding along the M4.Another story was of Herve Villechaize who played Nick Nack,by all accounts he was a dirty little bugger who spent a lot of time at various brothels.Roger would ask him'' how many so far? he would reply 45!!! Yes Gene he did plug Unicef a bit but it was a great evening and I'm pleased to have seen him live.My mate who went with me went to see Brian Blessed a few days later at Ely Cathedral,he was shouting Gordon's alive at the top of his voice. Can you imagine that voice echoing around the cathedral!!!

No doubt Ron will confirm, Roger always seems to have an excellent quip for any eventuality.
Enjoyed his interview with Piers Morgan. And his ad-libbing when he met up with Tony Curtis on the Alan Titchmarsh Show 'we've just got engaged'. Classic.
Glad you enjoyed the evening, Ron and to see him in person.
