I'm sad to see them go. They released many quality products over the years. It did feel like they only went for the more obscure stuff of late but still a shame to see them go. Can't believe it's 25 years roughly since the dvd explosion started.

I'm really sorry to hear that news, though in a way its not a great surprise to me. There's not as many people buying dvds now compared to previous years. A lot of stuff seems to be digital now, and dvds sometimes go on sale very cheap in charity shops.
Network did a great job offering forgotten series and films for sale at a reasonable price. I bought quite a lot of stuff from them over the years.
It annoys me when some Youtubers put these old series up for viewing after they've been restored at some expense and effort. The sixties BBC Maigret series was restored and offered for sale not too long ago and only the other night I noticed it up on YouTube in its restored condition. The youtuber could at least have waited a few years till the company who restored it had recouped some of the cost.
Hopefully Amazon will still sell some of these retro series.
Charles.

It is very sad news however I note the words that they have "shut down" rather than failed, collapsed, filed for insolvency or suchlike. I'm therefore wondering if it is related to the death of the founder Tim Beddows last November and the legal holding of the company. Fingers crossed that they could reappear under a new name to continue Tim's work.
Sam.

Sad news. There were rumours flying around on social media yesterday, but it now looks like they were true.
I bought a lot of their DVDs over the years but also kicked myself on many occasions for not grabbing some of the goodies that were on offer before they were sold out.
They did well to keep going through some of the setbacks they encountered over the years, including damage to their premises during the riots a few years ago and more recently the sad passing of their founder Tim, a real nostalgia enthusiast.

Very, very sad news as others have said I've enjoyed a lot of their releases over the years and they've brought out loads of stuff other companies wouldn't touch or (like The Pro's) have released so shoddily before it went to Network. Streaming right or wrong has been their problem and everything is so in the moment for that meaning a programme from the period Network focused on won't get a look in, but it's all so forced and staged this stream/Netflix era I just can't be bothered with it! Thanks for some great releases Network you'll be missed.

Yes saw this one Social media too, and did think this will resonate with us forum members. A sad shame but I thought afterwards that it might have been inevitable with changes in trends and technology. They certainly have done some great releases over the years and hopefully certain DVD's can be found from Amazon and suchlike. They will be missed.

Sad news to hear that Network On Air has apparently gone into liquidation. I have bought a lot of their Blu-rays/DVDs over the years, with The Professionals series restorations probably the best ones that they released. They will be sadly missed Vi

Very surprised to hear this, bought something in their sale just a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully they will be back under a different name.
