I think Network should concede that they made an error of judgment & extend the sale for their usual 5 days or more

I've come on here to bemoan the Network sale experience. I see you guys had the same issues I had. I was after a few things. Sweeney films in blu ray principally. Had to give up last night and no good today either.
I ended up buying OUT on dvd from Amazon for six odd quid.

Found Network a bit hit and miss too Del both price wise and had to return a few items to them too, like Hazell I got recently the dics were absolutely grubby and others which don't work or the packaging is smashed. Still they're useful and great The Saint, Steve Austin and others put these links our way.

No luck for me, I called it a day after 15 mins of fatal errors. Another disappointment from Network Still, that's what you get for being a cheapskate I tried once more this morning and had a fatal error loading the shopping cart so I pulled the plug on it. Gene. Dear oh dear, a bit of a poor show from Network there, glad there's not much I'm after at the moment. Reminds me of the time Tate Modern's website crashed when they tried to handle ticket sales for the Kraftwerk gig's in 2013. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20691613As said Network should extend the sale for wee bit...

Unfortunately, DE, there always seems to be a constant problem with Network's website during any sale these days, although this one was certainly worse than before. Contrast this with Indicator/Powerhouse films who rarely have flash sales but did have one back in the autumn. Despite heavy traffic and many overseas buyers using their website, I found it was a somewhat less frustrating experience trying to buy their sale items and it was all completed within 20 minutes instead of 2 hours! My latest order arrived yesterday morning, which was pretty quick really for standard free postage. The only thing was, they doubled up on my order so that I got two of everything. I had ordered six old British films and they've sent me two copies of each film. I checked paypal and they've only taken for the six that I ordered so that's ok.
I will have to send the others back now, as long as it doesn't cost me any return postage. I suppose the mix up happened because their website was up the wall last week.
Charles.

Not seen this before but the stated price of some ( not all ) items on Network's site is the price before tax is added, you only see the price you pay ( ie. inc. taxes ) once you put it in your basket. For instance I saw the dvd of 'The Hanged Man'/'Turtle's Progress' yesterday for £15 but after putting it in my basket it became, with taxes added, £18.
