Not a big football fan but Ian St John has died aged 82.
I know it's a well bandied word but he was a legend of the game and from an era which is much different from now, perhaps some of the modern day players could learn a thing of too from too.
RIP Ian thanks for the memories.

One of the players along with Bill Shankly who made Liverpool FC the club that it is today.
I’ll remember him most from the best football show on TV, "Saint & Greavsie.” RIP Ian St John

Ian was a great footballer in the 60s era, an important part of Shankly's early success. For me he was best known as a part of the duo with Jimmy Greaves on ITVs Saint & Greavsie Saturday pre match football show. The show was a success and it lasted from 1985 to 1992. For me it was better than the BBCs Football focus.
RIP Saint

Sad news today about Ian St John... In the 90s he presented a show called 'Sport in Question' which I think was only shown in the Midlands and London areas on ITV. Jimmy Greaves and various guests appeared on the show where they discussed sporting issues of the day in front of a studio audience - usually football! RIP
