After a recent comment on the forum, we have decided to make some changes to the Member Rankings on 4:3tv which will be more in keeping with the theme of 4:3tv. Previously we had: - Member 0-99 posts
- Regular Member 100-499 posts
- Established Member 500-999 posts
- Experienced Member 1000-1999 posts
- Senior Member 2000-4999 posts
- 4:3tv Addict 5000+ posts
The new rankings will be: - Boom Operator 0-99 posts
- Cameraman 100-499 posts
- Screenwriter 500-999 posts
- Director 1000-1999 posts
- Producer 2000-4999 posts
- Executive Producer 5000+ posts
New members were previously assigned to a group called "Lurker" until they proved to be regular contributers, whereby the "Lurker" tag would be dropped and they would simply be a "Member". This has also be reviewed following a comment on the forum regarding the tag "Lurker" which was thought to be a little sinister. So we have renamed this group as "Runner", in keeping with the above theme of film crew related titles.
Administrators and Moderators will remain unchanged, as will the star system accompanying the member groups.
The changes are effective immediately so you should all see this in your mini profiles to the left of your posts.
Gene.

I have to say I like the new ranking system better than the previous one.
