Something of a rarity. A 1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith LWB Special with coachwork by Vignale. The only Vignale bodied Rolls ever built. It had: 4,887cc F-Head Inline 6-Cylinder Engine Single Downdraft Carburetor Approximately 125bhp 4-Speed Automatic Transmission Independent Front Suspension – Live Rear Axle 4-Wheel Hydraulic Drum Brakes Sold at auction in 2014 for £142,770.

That’s interesting, it has an American look to it and not very elegant for a Rolls-Royce. Thanks for sharing Gene The Saint

Certainly is an unusual looking car but can't fault the originality or rarity factor. I should think it was built for comfort not for speed, only 125bhp from a 4887cc engine wouldn't propel it that well. Interesting motor though, thanks for posting Gene. Sam.

Thanks for that Gene, yes not the most elegant of Rolls Royces but certainly an acquired taste with the styling!!

It reminds me of the more modern Chinese fake Jags. Its like a American car was custom fitted a RR bonnet and grille.

Yes, I've seen one of those, it was a Nissan Micra with the front of a mark 2 Jag grafted on. It looked odd, but better than this Rolls does. This thing looks like a RR grille has been superimposed on an early 50s American car, it would look better without it, and a full width US style grille instead.
