The landlord in my opinion has little or no interest in its AWP connection which is a shame. He sounds like a right misery

I've been in there many many times. It's a nice place in a nice area. The landlord in my opinion has little or no interest in its AWP connection which is a shame. I hope it gets saved and the new owner acknowledges the importance of its history in AWP. Given its location it has always been busy when I've visited so whoever takes it on should have no concerns about custom. Gene. Seems a shame that Gene mind you the landlord probably gets a lot of AWP fans to be fair. TBH I just kept it a pint n a pie mate. Nice boozer very different from my usual urban haunts. |
