Interesting about Jenny Eclair Arthur certainly wouldn't have recognised her there. Maybe the interior shots could've been filmed in Elstree? I get that impression as when Wayne/Barry escape from the first floor the surroundings have a British rather than German feel to them.  |

The hotel room interiors certainly have the same studio set look as the hospital, doctor's surgery, bar, massage parlour, etc. These would definitely have all been shot back in blighty.
I was watching 'Murphy's Mob' on youtube recently, also made by Central at more or less the same time. As I was watching it it suddenly occurred to me that the show looked & 'felt' just the same as AWP. Have a look at an episode & see what you think.

Caught the tail end of a Bergerac episode on Drama last night and saw the lovely Morag Hood looking very Mrs Chatterley-esque in it as a French con artist cum murderer.  Oz didn't know how lucky he was! |
