Great ending to the Thornley Manor section of the excellent series 2.

A big man but softly spoken, Pat will always be famed for his role in AWP.

RIP Pat. Despite being the soft spoken ‘gentle giant’ in AWP ‘Bomber’ was a great character and always liked his contributions to the show particularly in If I Were A Carpenter and Last Rites in Series 1. Hope to give Series 1 a spin in the next couple of weeks too.

By strange coincidence I turned the second half of an edition of 'Bullseye' on last night & Pat Roach was the celebrity darts thrower.

I always liked how he talked of himself as a third person. Greatly missed too.

That's a shame, no more Butch & Sundance. Still it's bound to have a room 612 in the new one. Wonder if they'll keep the ditch where Barry crashed the bike?
