A few have mentioned memories of meeting Aitch at the Meet on 10th October 2010. Here is a little reminder of that great day.

Very sad to hear that Aitch has passed away. He was such a genuinely great bloke and I will never forget that meet when he joined us for the day and the stories he told us about his life as an extra on so many shows. RIP big fella and enjoy a Guinness in the sky.

Very sad news about Aitch... Mr Steed and I had the pleasure of chatting with him about his career as an extra on film and TV as we were being driven around London during that 2010 meet. RIP Harry Fielder

Oh No. That is such sad news. I never got to meet Aitch but I read his thread on that old forum years ago and his website and enjoyed his numerous posts and pics of his marvellous working career. I bought a copy of his book from him and he kindly posted it all the way to Australia, and included a note and pics of his Star Wars role signed, when I'd mentioned my son's obsession with Star Wars. Such kindness he showed in sharing his stories and pics to those interested in the making of those classic shows. His book is a wonderful read and I used to look out for him when I watched English tv shows and movies from the 1970s onwards. Condolences to his family. Such a loss. R.I.P. Harry "Aitch" Fielder

It's Very sad to hear this! I heard that he had previously been on a forum meet but never realised that he'd traveled in all the squad cars and yeah what a great day I bet it was! what with all the great stories he had to tell! and spending the whole day with everyone, I guess no other actor would of done this! Wish I'd had the chance to have attended this meet but it was before I had joined, his profile on IMBD is so impressive and at a listing of 279 tv programs/films he's been in, I don't recall seeing anyone else on there exceeding this!
RIP Harry Fielder
