Sad to report that actor Mark Eden has passed away today after suffering with Alzheimer's Disease for a long time. He was 92 years of age. He will always be remembered as Alan Bradley in Corontaion Street, but was so much more than that, with roles in The Professionals, The Prisoner, Z Cars & Till Death Us Do Part to name just a few from am impressive history dating back to the 1950s. RIP Mark. BBC News - Mark Eden

RIP Mark.
I see he did a Dr Who with William Hartnell as well.
Another victim of that horrible disease.

RIP Mark.
He featured on BBC2 just now in a 2012 John Le Mesurier documentary, Eden's first wife being Le Mesurier's third, Joan.

Every time I'm in Blackpool I recall that infamous tram scene.
A very talented actor, RIP Mark Eden.

I can remember Mark Eden acting on TV and films from way back, and I'm sorry to hear of his passing. His character 'Alan Bradley' made a big impact on Coronation Street in the eighties.
RIP Mark.
