As Arthur says, the forum is one of the highlights of a very dull year and the brightest of them all for me was finally finding out where the Black Horse from The Likely Lads Christmas Special is located, nice one Gene Hopefully get to sink a few in there in 2021. Merry Christmas to all on 4:3tv

Happy Christmas Gene! hope ya have a great time with ya family! and everyone else on here! yes it's definitely been a strange year and to be honest doesn't seem or feel like Christmas! the whole year, the news and everything as just been consumed with the Corona Virus so I guess it's been hard to focus on other things! and still everyone's not out of the woods yet. but it's been good that this forum as carried on, a source of comfort and escapism in tough times!!! So here's to 2021, where surely life will be back to normal! along with the meets back! that would be so good ha!

A merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all here on the forum. It has certainly been an unusual year with the issues that we've all had to face and while it is likely that it will continue for a few months into the new year, I wish all forum members and their families the best of health and hope that you all manage to stay clear of infections. We're looking forward to resuming the 4:3TV meets and in particular the long-awaited Life On Mars meet that Gene has put so much work into the preparation. When it finally goes ahead I'm certain that all attending members will be rewarded with yet another outstanding meet that has become Gene's trademark. In the meantime please stay safe, be careful for yourselves and your families, and let's all make the most of the restricted festive period that we have. Sam.

Many thanks Gene and the admin crew, for the hard work as ever, and yes it's not been an easy year at all for all of us, but as with everyone I do hope for a much better and improved 2021 and things can back to ask much of a normal as possible, and I also hope you will be able to have a great Christmas and keep in touch with your friends and family as much as we all can with the restrictions, and a more postive new year!

Firstly, seasonal greetings to all 43tv forum members and every good wish for 2021.
Interested to see Gene's initial comment on this thread; 64k posts in a year is, in itself, impressive. However, of much greater significance is the quality of these posts.
It is rare to log in and not find some absolute gems of information - on some first class topics. Posters clearly put a great deal of time, effort and no lack of expertise into what they have to say. In addition, it is very apparent that there is great respect and camaraderie - excellent.
Anyway, here's to the continued success of this superb forum.
Cheers,
Stan

Happy Christmas to everyone on 4:3 and thanks to Gene and the team for all their hard work. Hopefully things will be gradually getting back to some kind of normality soon and I’m looking forward to seeing you at the long awaited meet next year. Keep staying safe and wishing you and your families all the very best. Candy x
