Talking about Glynis Barber, anyone remember a series on BBC in about 1981 or 2 ish called Jane? It was based on the Daily Mirror Second World War cartoon and Glynis played her.

I've still got the 1/64 model of Makepeace's XR3i convertible somewhere in the loft. I think it was Matchbox but can't be sure.

Yes, it was always worth watching when Makepeace took her top off.
The car top I mean!

Yes, used to enjoy this. At one time, I really wanted my hair cut like hers!
D&P well overdue for a re-run, come on ITV4! (Or is it already running on other channels? I only have Freeview).
Think GB popped up in the Bill about 10 or so years ago, playing a villain-ess.

I really should get round to rewatching this. Glynis Barber was (and still is) gorgeous. Essential viewing for a teenage lad back in the day.

It’s back on ITV 4, watched the pilot episode this morning! I love 80’s series and forgot about this, but it was absolute utter cheese n toast, and the only valid reason I could think of for watching was Sgt Makepeace and her blonde hair lol!

Odd, its wikipedia page says it was created by Sweeney writer Ranald Graham whilst the imdb says Tony Wharmby was the creator. Either way it was a load of old pony & Glynis Barber was just too distracting
