Another thing that annoys the *** out of me is that so many people are completely blinkered about how stupid they make themselves look when posting selfies. Apart from the stereotype of wenches taking their pictures in a mirror, posing like a supermodel with their fashion-victim iPhone in full view, 99% of people post selfies without realising that they are actually posting a mirror image rather than a true image. For example: Posted image: True image: Sam.

Looks like he spends more time cleaning his bike than he does his own teeth.

It does annoy me when I see a cyclist without lights or riding on the pavement as I get about by bike myself & make a point of stopping at traffic lights & pulling over to let buses pass, etc. It's these idiots who will force compulsory helmets & other restrictive measures.
I hate being photographed, let alone taking one of myself.

A while back I was walking into town to enjoy a meal with mates around Christmas time, about 5 miles I guess so I could have a few jars. The pavement I was on was for walkers only, the one on the opposite side was for cyclists as well. Some numpty comes flying along expecting me to leap out of the way, I just gave him my shoulder to bounce off onto some roadside furniture. He didn't fancy any additional aggro.

Cyclists on pavements, cyclists on the road (actually that's definitely worse than on the pavement!), cyclists ... actually they're annoying wherever they are. I'm all for being green but 99% of them are in belief that they're in the right at all times and everyone should bend to their every whim.

A lot of these green types are like that, in my opinion. The more extreme ones are like the brainwashed members of some crackpot American religious cult

I'm all for being green but 99% of them are in belief that they're in the right at all times and everyone should bend to their every whim. With apologies for any cyclists on here I'm in total agreement here with Alex. As a kid I took my Cycling Proficiency test and got 96% thanks to many years of cycling and repairing my bikes beforehand. However, we were always taught to cycle in line not two abreast, and to keep within two feet (60cm to the youngsters on here) of the kerb. Nowadays it seems that cyclists are taught to "ride defensively" and to cycle around four feet from the kerb to make drivers slow down. The biggest culprits appear to be the MAMILs (Middle aged men in lycra) that have a definite arrogance and self-importance about them. Maybe my opinion of them is clouded because I've been in a cafe when there have been a whole bunch of them arrive and their treatment to the staff has been diabolical thanks to their superiority complex. Sam.
