Not to mention Pee Wee, Kenny Ames and a man with a video camera..... That must've been fun at the time, mind you!

When we are loading the vans at work, we wheel the stuff out to the van in supermarket trolleys. The area outside the warehouse is on a very slight slope and the trolley sometimes rolls away when you start to unload. It is very annoying!

When I was at Uni I worked in a shop which was on a slant. I did a lot of stock work and we worked out of cages on wheels. In that particular shop we had to always put the cages 90 degrees from the slant at all times and if people forgot, they'd find the cage at the front of the shop. People with pushchairs at the tills would (understandably) let go of them to get to their money and the prams would roll away! Now I look back on it, it was ridiculous, but we just got used to it. It was a very well known shop, by the way, not a little independent corner shop or anything. And prior to this it was a Woollies!

Got quite annoyed trying to find the end of a roll of sellotape today as it had bumps in it. I was thinking you could solve the problem by inventing tape that changed colour when cut, someone else had the same idea-

Got quite annoyed trying to find the end of a roll of sellotape today as it had bumps in it. The irritating thing when using tape is when it rolls back and sticks after using the serrated cutter on the tape dispenser. It is impossible to get the tape peeling again without the serrations tearing lengthways. Not so bad on plain or clear tape but when using marked tape such as "Fragile" it tears at an angle along the word. Sam.

Interesting to read the comments on that article Arthur, and the way the septics try to rubbish his idea. I tend to agree that the majority of households don't use a dispenser. We don't. Just a roll of sellotape that I personally avoid like the plague for the same reasons as you. Gene.

Anyone trying to "help" you with your job and it then taking you even longer to sort out the mess made. Not that I'm a control freak or anything.

Anyone butting in whilst you're doing something I find very annoying, for instance when you're looking through a drawer or cupboard & someone asks 'what are you looking for?' or if you're in the middle of doing something & someone makes a suggestion or offers to help. Sounds ungrateful but I really don't like doing tasks with other people, it's definitely a control issue. Decorating is the worst, that's one job I have to do alone or I go beserk
