Following on from the huge success of the Life On Mars Live Watch events on Twitter, this week sees the start of the Ashes To Ashes Live Watch which will run for the next 24 weeks. I'll be posting a selection of tweets from the events as the weeks unfold.
Tonight for episode 1, we will be joined by Jonny Campbell, who directed the first episode. We have also had a few tweets leading up to the start from writer Ashley Pharoah.
A great series of tweets for a brilliant series. Thanks for posting Gene
It is interesting to see that they were going to turn it down but the drive to London gave them some thinking time and inspiration - we must be grateful that they didn't just pick up the phone or email their refusal. It is one of the few things that we can thank the M4 for!
I'm going to say this once and once only Gene: Stay out of Camberwick Green!

Hard to believe that Keeley got abuse for essentially not being Sam Tyler! But there we go. I presume she got away from all that in the end. What was odd to me was, about a week ago, Dean Andrews put a picture up from A2A on instagram and Keeley commented saying it was her "favourite programme ever". I was under the impression she had said she wouldn't' want to do any more of it, at one point. So either that's wrong or times change, I suppose!
Sometimes in life you can't help which way you fall.
So did John Simm, but they're not fools. They know another final chapter will be very popular and bring in huge viewing figures. I think its common knowledge that they had a great time making LoM & A2A so what's not to like about doing something very enjoyable and getting paid a fortune to do it?
Montserrat Lombard has also waded in to attach herself to the wave of support this week so there's another who will be only to pleased to sign on the dotted line when it comes to it. As for Marshall Lancaster. I know if I were him I'd rather be involved in #lazarus than plastering someones hall, stairs & landing.
