Btw, I noticed on another George Sweeney clip someone left a comment saying that he's now a 'plumber', George's wife Lesley has replied to it & corrected him saying he's not a plumber at all but a gas fitter & apparently trained as one prior to acting.

Interesting edition of TIYL, a highlight is an appearance of a syrup wearing Talfryn Thomas who died the year after this programme.

Peter Adamson who played Len Fairclough one of the original stars of Corrie. He lost his part in the show in the eighties didn't he, after a court case ? He was found not guilty but never the less dismissed from the show.
I will probably give this a proper watch later on the Smart TV. This edition of TIYL was probably made before the court case.

Talking about Peter Adamson, he used to live in the posh end of Bury when he was on coronation street, and this bloke I used to know who was a bus driver in Bury had an interesting meeting with him once. It was during the early evening rush hour and my mate was driving his bus with a full load, on the big roundabout in the middle of Bury when this Silver Shadow pulled out right in front of him. He slammed the brakes on and missed him by about an inch. He leant out of the cab window and asked him what he was doing and got a v sign in response from the Rollers driver, who he then recognised as Peter Adamson.
As a result, he wasn't a fan!

Yes this TIYL was before his fall from grace. A sad tale, his wife died in her 50's a few years after TIYL, he started drinking again, ending his days bankrupt & friendless according to wikipedia.

This programme shows how an episode ( funnily enough on another Coronation Street actor, Bill Waddington ) of TIYL was made, some interesting behind the scenes footage including behind the doors that the guests come out of.

I've just watched this documentary on the very troubled making of 'From Russia With Love ' Which is my favourite Bond film. Unfortunately the sound is a bit out of sync, but I still found it very enjoyable to watch.

This video appeared in the 'recommended' clips as I loaded up YouTube earlier.
Whoever thought of putting a Hayabusa engine into a Bond Bug and then adding turbo etc must be absolutely barking.
For those unaware, a Hayabusa is a 1300cc Suzuki bike with 173hp as stock and with top speed limited to 186mph.
I'd like a fiver for every time the presenter says "Oh my God!"

That looks like a right handful. Little wonder with a 1300 power plant. What were they originally? 750cc weren't they?

Apparently the first ones were 700cc, later ones were 750's.
