R Dean Taylor's versh every day of the week - and that's from a big Fall fan
The Fall have done some great covers though....
Mr Pharmacist by The Other Half
Lost in Music by Sister Sledge
Rollin Dany by Gene Vincent White Line Fever by Merle Haggard
I Can Hear The Grass Grow by The Move
Stranger Town by Groundhogs White Lightning by The Big Bopper The Legend Of Xanadu by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich
...and many more that don't spring to mind right now
If I had to pick a personal favourite it would be (drum roll please)....
Mr. Pharmacist
Guaranteed to see me shaking my groove thang down at the Indie Disco every flipping time
Their version of Victoria wasn't too bad either.

Not sure who compiled the list for 'It's Grim Up North' but they made a glaring error not mentioning Blackpool
Several of the towns mentioned are anything but grim so maybe it was meant satirically in response to the cliche.
Blackpool might be on the extended version Arthur haven't got time to check mate. Love the irony of Knutsford and Harrogate being mentioned too!

Another one that came up on my Youtube playlist this evening, there are a number of easy recognised locations here including Battersea Power Station (already in a state of disrepair), Little Venice, and the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate as seen on The Sweeney: Down To You Brother.
Clearly pregnant in the video you can see her sense of humour in looking down at her stomach when singing the line "You put me on the pill".

The Beatmasters featuring Betty Boo vid for "Hey DJ" was filmed outside the UCH Education Centre at 250 Euston Road
As the video was released in 1989, it must have been one of the newest office blocks in London at that time
Ooooo, Yeah!

Playing The Verve's "Lucky Man" tonight I spotted Hammersmith Bridge in the background so worked out that the video was filmed at the rear of the Thames Wharf Studios in Rainville Road W6: >>> Google link <<<Sam.

That reminds me of the boathouse used in The Sweeney episode "Sweet Smell Of Succession".

That reminds me of the boathouse used in The Sweeney episode "Sweet Smell Of Succession". Quite coincidentally I found that location too, the houseboat still exists in the same location at the Old Ferry Wharf, Chelsea embankment. Gene and I went there back in November 2013. Sam.

I caught this one on Now 80s channel last night:
Not the best quality track in the world (I prefer the Not The Nine O'Clock News version) but I recognised the station and associated signal box as being Horsted-Keynes station on the Bluebell Railway steam heritage line.
