A few of my work colleagues and friends had been raving about this new Sky backed Drama that aired in April.
We don't have sky Atlantic in our household, so I took advantage of the free trial on NowTV to watch this.
A taster >
It's brutal ingenious and compelling, I couldn't stop watching it and it's been a while since I binge watched something this good.
This may not be for everyone. It's not for the feint hearted as there are lots of gory scenes, it's directed by Gareth Edwards - him of the RAID film fame. (Indonesian fight film - which is also worth a watch if you haven't seen it)
Won't put any spoilers here but I can thoroughly recommend people watch it!

I haven't got Sky either YUG but have seen the trailers for this.
Erm they didn't really grip me looked a bit/badly overacted and not really a true reflection on gang and organised crime activity in the UK/London although I'm sure the Russian Mafia is operating more or less as this shows them. Also didn't the BBC sort of mine this territory for McMafia a year or so ago.
I'm not going to blow it out entirely until I see it could blow me away and I'll love it - some unexpected things do, but not really feeling it from the trailers I've seen.
Still thanks for the thread and letting us know YUG always good to bring new things to the forum!

I saw this advertised and spotted Joe Cole from Peaky Blinders. Was thinking about having the Now TV free trial because I thought this looked interesting so might well go for it (I had a trial with them a couple of years ago and was impressed with them as I forgot to cancel it after the free month so they charged me - of course - so I rang them and said I had made an error and they refunded me immediately, no argument). Thanks for the recommendation

It hasn't been on my radar. I'm not sure if we have Sky Atlantic TBH. It looks well shot though and worth a look. Thanks Yug
