Cheeky git! Hang on ... was it a typo all along? "My name is Alex Drake. I was shot and woke up in ... 1918!" Oops!

Sean Connery's eyebrows were plucked in Bond & other films, I don't think eyebrow shaping ever looks right on a man unless he's in drag.
He looked a lot more manly with thinning hair & bushy eyebrows aged 42 in 'The Offence' from 1972.
Roger's eyebrows never caused any problems-
I remember a great line from a Spitting Image sketch, it showed him as a corpse but still raising an eyebrow & a voice says 'rogermooretis has set in'

I recently read...
In addition to his work in film and televison he worked for many years with UNICEF, a part of his life that was completely new to me.
He came across as amusing, self deprecating and with some great stories. There was something very disarming about his style.
I expect he was a good person - and quite down to earth

My son & I met Roger a few years before he passed away. He made a fuss of my lad and was very friendly and down to earth.

I just wish RM hadn't been given such poor plots.
LALD and TSWLM were very good films, not all keen on the rest.
Almost certainly the nicest guy out of all the actors who played Bond.

Roger Moore was easily my favourite Bond and Live and Let Die and The Spy who loved me are my two favourite Bond films. I've heard he was a nice bloke too, by all accounts.
One thing I've never got is why women were supposed to find Sean Connery attractive, I know it's difficult to comment, being a bloke, but to me he looked a bit like your Dad, or someone who might have played for a team like Oldham Athletic or Port Vale in about the late 50s.

It's a very subjective thing. Over the years I've debated this with a good many people and there is always a mixture of responses. The majority I have to say prefer Roger Moore with Connery next. On thing I can't say is that I like all of them because I don't. I just can not take to Daniel Craig in the role at all and certainly not a fan of all the CGI crap in them now.
One thing I would love to have seen would be Lewis Collins in the role. He ticked all the boxes but wasn't liked by Broccoli and he was deemed too aggressive in his interview so alas it never happened.

Yes, its a pity it never happened for Lewis, he could have taken over from Roger.
Who knows what actually happened at the interview but surely aggression is part of the character?
Not disagreeing, had read that elsewhere as well.
That's why Larry Grayson failed his screen test for the part, not aggressive enough, or at all actually.
