Sad news a true legend of motorsports and most likely the best ever driver to never win a F1 WDC no one else comes close. RIP Stirling thanks for your contributions to the sport in one of it's most dangerous/competitive eras.

Just seen this on the news, very sad but a good innings at 90 especially in a very dangerous sport. RIP Stirling Moss.

RIP Stirling.
As stated above, to have done this during some of the most dangerous years is special.
Always came across well on tv when interviewed, a real gent.

A true legend of the sport and more importantly an all round good bloke. I saw Sterling race an Alfa up the hill climb at The Festival of speed aprx 10 years ago. He was still capable of gunning a motor at an advanced age. Fantastic.
RIP Stirling

Very sad news. A remarkable driver who I've been fortunate enough to see in person and driving on a number of occasions such as Goodwood Festival of Speed, Brooklands, and at a book signing at the Mercedes World also at Brooklands. At one of the "Double Twelve" events at Brooklands he raced an original Mercedes 300SLR around the Mercedes test track at full speed despite being 78 years of age at the time. Here he is at the book signing the same day: R.I.P. Sir Stirling.

Very sad news. I too met Sir Stirling at the NEC Classic show a few years ago.
A marvellous innings but another who'll be sadly missed.
RIP Stirling.

Very sad to see this legend leave us. A truly great Englishman.
I seem to recall that he had his close brush with death on an Easter Monday in the 1960s and he's passed away during the Easter Holiday ? Or am I wrong there?
R.I.P. Stirling.
