Have we got any fellow fight fans here ? I've always followed Boxing over the decades and have seen some classic fights over the years. I loved the 80s with Tyson blitzing the heavyweight division. The middleweights were decent too ,Hagler, Hearns, Leonard, Duran. The Four Kings as they are know certainly had a few good dust ups between them. In the 90s my favs were the British middleweights, Benn, Eubank, Watson and Calzaghe. Steve Collins was a great champ too. The heavyweight scene is pretty good right now with Tyson Fury the best of the bunch.
There's been a few shall we say controversial results down the years. Fights that usually end in draws. I wouldn't mind having a go at rescoring those as a few are on You Tube. Just to see what my scorecard would be compared to the judges.

Bit late to reply to this Del, but only just noticed it. Yes, I don't dislike boxing, always make a point of watching any big fights, saw the recent Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua ones. Also like Anthony Crolla. Remember many from the 70s too, my favourite then was Ali, naturally.

Yes I’m a big fight fan, and I’m really missing it. I usually attend the big arena fights in the midlands and north, but I love a local area belt fight in a town hall too. My aim is to spectate at York Hall, Bethnal Green for a British/commonwealth belt. I reckon York Hall is the living, breathing heart of British boxing. My all time favourite was Nigel Benn, my current fave is geordie super-lightweight Lewis Ritson. Even though the prices can be steep to spectate, I watch all of the card and I think you can get decent value for money. Make it a stop over and go on the lash just makes it better, Liverpool and Newcastle being my two favourites for that. I think for atmosphere the Manchester Arena was amazing when Anthony Corolla was briefly world champion.

Anyone else get up in the middle of the night to watch Fury v Wilder? I did (but tired now as a result) and I thought it was a great fight. The first round, Fury looked to be in a bit of trouble but he came back brilliantly and wore Wilder down, I thought he looked out of it by about the fourth

Lots of the sporting press writing off AJ if he ever fought Fury, I'm not enough of expert to know, however lots of people can come back from problems as Fury himself demostrated.

I guess Furys next fight will be the Ukranian who beat Joshua. Can never remember his name.

There's no way I would ever stay up all night to watch a boxing match. I know how knackered I would feel all day afterwards. I had a look on 'Daily Motion' this morning about 11am, and they were showing the replay on there as usual. It was a good fight, but I thought Fury fought better in his last match against Wilder.

I was working until 2am yesterday and the ring walk was quoted as being 4 am so i stayed up and watched it. I'm glad i did because I enjoyed the previous two bouts. This one took on a different persona to the other two and there seemed to be a bit more needle between the two fighters. Fury solved all the problems again to win but had to show heart when caught by Wilder. The Heavyweight division is the most vibrant for the first time in many years. Fury is definitely king though. Fury's after fight interviews are so funny. How can he sing after that tough 11 rounder ! What a character All eyes on Joshua now in a mooted Feb rematch with Usyk.

It would be more chess than a Fury Wilder showdown. Fury would win for me as he's a huge man and the weight and reach advantage would be an edge.
