Yeah! definitely G’ the good thing is there’s 3 series! to wade though! and even though Sam Tyler is not in it, makes no odds! a female replacement was a Very clever idea’ and much better than either having another male character or even leaving Sam’s character position vacant. Gene is just his usual self if not better! Due to his quips’ and What with all the 80’s tunes throughout just puts the tin hat on it for me.. Not sleeping same with being holed up coz of the lockdown and basically nothing to do so have Been watching it at 8am in the mornings lol! maybe when all this mess is over and we can eventually get around to doing the LOM meet, then after that how good would a ashes to ashes meet’ be

Am thoroughly enjoying this! Maybe because it’s like seeing old friends again and I think DI Drake is great. The soundtrack is brilliant and still the fab one liners - dare I say I think I like it better than LOM...

Half way through the 2nd series and really liking it so far! It’s so different than LOM! and everything is a lot faster pace! I’m wondering though once it’s all been watched, am I gonna get that feeling! ‘ my head mashed lol and thinking, what was that all about! hehe! and the ending being more ambiguous then LOM! favourite bits up to now are when Gene trying to get to Bolly! blasts the plate glass window with his shooter in slow motion whilst the song ‘ Vienna by Ultravox is played in the background! Just class! And the bit where he Scrags’ Skas’ and chucks um over the desks!!! Philip Glenister is just first class in this series! and just like John Thaw in the Sweeney! Nobody else could do it better!! probably the saddest bit up to now is when Shaz Granger got stabbed! and the absolute turmoil on Chris Skeltons face! Was tough to watch!!

I don't think it's particularly ambiguous - you'll be fine! But obviously I'm saying nothing more! When I first watched A2A, I was borrowing the DVDs from my friend - it was one of those set ups where she was my friend, her mum was my mum's friend and her dad my dad's friend! So we were essentially borrowing them from the family, I suppose, but I got far to engrossed to wait for my parents who are "one episode a night" type people. I watched the first series over about a week, I suppose, I can't quite remember, the second series over maybe 3-4 days and the third in less than 24 hours . This was before we had anything like Netflix (it may have existed, I don't know, but my parents aren't techy people so we certainly didn't have anything at all like that, it was DVDs or live TV). I watched the whole lot in my room on a tiny old fashioned TV (in that it was about as deep as it was wide) with a screen about a foot square. I was doing my A Levels and I had English coursework to finish and I couldn't, I couldn't do anything except watch this to find out what was going on! I remember messaging my friend who loaned the DVDs to me the day after I'd picked it up on the way home saying "I have 3 episodes left, do you want to come and watch them with me?" so she joined me for the ending and then eventually, I got back to my coursework. I'd love to watch it again without knowing them so well, but I think the scripts are embedded in my brain so deeply, that wouldn't happen even if I never watched them again! Enjoy!

Can’t believe how fast the pace is, ya nip out for a drink and you’re missed a important bit! I know the following statement won’t be politically correct, but I’ve already concluded that Bolly has more balls than Sam Tyler

Thanks for nothing GC, only a matter of time before her ladyship is on here gloating! Not politically correct? It is factually not correct either but she won't see that, she's far too blinkered and relies upon the slightest piece of praise she can get. Sam.
