I hope its not too weird with there being no crowd. Still what else can they do. True, it does bring a little extra to it all.
Hopefully even if they (F1) can get 12 or more races together then it's worthwhile running a 'season' towards the end of the year ... anything less or any other issues it'll be a case of why... can say the same about football with it's pantomime starting again this weekend, IMHO there's more point to a shortened F1 season happening in 2020 than finishing the Premier League off!

Bernie Ecclestone is a bit of knob isn't he? An A1 Prize b3ll end of a knob. I met him about years ago, was giving my mate who is a plumber in central London some help, had a call out to attend a leaking shower in his or his daughters Kensington Palace property. He spoke to us like dirt and there was no need for it, the midget!!! I see the press today has stated that Ferrari are making excuses for their aero package already, I do hope there is some competition this season. Austria is such a dull race normally lets hope there is plenty of excitement! I can't wait to watch some of the practice on Friday, annoyingly can't watch the race live as we had foolishly arranged to meet up with some family members - ummm I may quickly develop a case of upset tummy on Saturday evening so I can stay at home!

What a little git Absolutely no need to talk down to people. I liked the race last year and it was a great finish. Think RedBull Honda will be the main challengers again.

I see Vettel is in the news saying he was never offered a new contract at Ferrari, never mind turning one down due to money.

Who can blame them. The guy has lost his concentration looking at the mistakes made on race days.

Who can blame them. The guy has lost his concentration solely looking at the mistakes made on race days. Wonder if he's got the bottle to take a less able car and pull off an outstanding drive or is going to disappear up his own exhaust pipe in a fit of pique?

He has that talent as seen on his first seasons in F1 winning at Monza in a Torro Rosso. Could a new team rejuvenate the lost je ne sais quoi in Vettel or is he past his peak for good. A change of environment can get more life out of sportsmen who look past it so it could happen.

I think the arrival of his first child in recent months may have had an impact on Vettel's outlook and plans.

Ah here we go again... been a while since I could post this but here's the rundown of FP1 from the A1 Ring!
Also here's an interesting take on the Vettel situation from the BBC site, perhaps a parting of the waves is best for both of them... remember Ferarri did (it seems) sacrifice Arrivabene so maybe Binotto isn't willing to have the same fate happen to him.
