RIP Kirk, a genuine legend and there surely one of the last of his generation... charisma, looks, talent, he had the lot - and he stood his ground over the rampant McCarthyism that infested Hollywood in the '50s, the guy who wrote the screenplay for 'Sparticus' was blacklisted but Kirk insisted on giving him full credit with his own name.
