As we have had a thread where the Beatles were generally preferred to the Stones by most, perhaps we should have a poll of favourite or best Beatles' albums. In the UK they had twelve studio albums in the charts between 1963 and 1970. Select your favourites from the list above

Great thread Vienna My first vote was easy. It goes to: Revolver My second vote was tricky, Rubber soul and Sgt Pepper were close but Abbey Road gets the nod.

Cheers, Del Boy No worries I went for Revolver and The White Album. BTW, I wish Windy Miller would have a break from flour production and get on with producing his poll of "fit birds" Vienna

Nice thread,Vienna. This is quite a difficult one for me,but my first vote was for 'Rubber Soul',it was the first Beatle album I really got into, probably the first one I had.The memories are a little vague, but I think it was.Secondly,my vote is for 'The White Album',I bought this album on vinyl from Virgin Records with my paper round money, aged 15.I played it endlessly. What an album!!

A good poll there Vienna. I voted for Sgt Pepper as my easy first choice; absolutely brilliant. Second choice was hard but The White Album got my second vote in the end Steed

It's an early lead for the latter stage Beatles catalogue.
The White Album is good and I like it, but I agree with the opinion of Ringo who said on the Anthology video, " that it would have been better to put it out as a single not double album".
If you look at it ,it has some quality tunes : Back in the USSR, Ob La Di, Ob La Da, Dear Prudence, While my Guitar Gently Weeps, Blackbird.
Good album tracks : Martha my dear, Glass Onion, Birthday, Julia, Revolution number 1 and yer blues
For me the rest is filler even dire to a point. What do you guys think ?
