I didn't like it at first - being a staunch Grange Hill fan. Though saw a couple of episodes many years later and quite enjoyed it.

I used to enjoy it at the time, although one of the only things I remember about it is Tommy being sick on the bus after a few drinks the night before. I also remember Peter Childs played Alan's father. We sadly lost Peter 30 years ago this month from Leukaemia at just 50 years of age.

Watched the first episode and quite enjoyed it. I recognised one of the girls in the job centre, took me a while but I remembered her as Lynne Hobbs from EastEnders, One of the slater girls who was married to Gary.
Out of interest has anyone seen the ebay advert selling the 3 series on DVD ? I know it's a copy but does anyone know if it's worth buying quality wise ?

Brown Granada will be able to tell us, I expect they're the same copies as on youtube, it's quite hard going watching it in poor quality.
I recognised Elaine Lordan as well, she was an attractive girl.

Hopefully the DVD copies might be slightly better than on YT. It is a bit painful watching poor quality Video. Elaine was an attractive girl yes. She didn't have much luck pulling that bloke in the job centre

Chaps I'm not sure what the quality will be like from eBay. Probably not the best as it will be a copy from youtube I imagine or similar. My copies are not the best but are watchable. I got mine about 5 years ago off of someone online.

I hadn’t thought that the copies could be off YouTube. Good point BG, don’t think I’ll buy those copies then and the fact that the seller has zero feedback could be a bit ropey.
Oh, nearly forgot, I’m up to episode 4 now and still enjoying it 👍

I saw some Tucker's Luck on youtube a few years ago when I didn't have a regular job. I liked the whole '80s vibe, the clothes, the characters and one episode which featured movie hard man Craig Fairbrass. Nice to see another GH alumnus return at the very end too.

First shown in March 1980 on BBC1 at 5.10pm. Some amazingly mature kids analyse Grange Hill.

Nice find Arthur. Tuckers Luck was very popular at the time. They got three series out of it. Not bad for a spin off.
