Anyone else a fan of this cracking film? About two Scottish guys who hold up coaches and become folk heroes. Brilliant soundtrack by big country too. Next to Get Carter probably my favourite film.

I have got this film BG but it's been a while since I watched it. As I remember it was quite enjoyable. It was actually my wife who bought it but I will have to watch it again now. I can't quite remember the Bike they rode, maybe a 125 of some description ? Can't quite remember.

I can't quite remember the Bike they rode, maybe a 125 of some description ? Can't quite remember. From this youtube image the bike looks like a Suzuki GP125: It is a single cyclinder, two-stroke 125, one of the least likely getaway vehicles you could have. Here's one that has sold on car and classic: www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1155751Sam.

Hi Sam.
Yes, I thought that when I watched it. I knew it was a 125 2 stroke but couldn't remember what it was.
Nice bike though and I wouldn't say no to it. Must be worth a few bob now.

The GP125 was a desirable second bike back in the day. Simply because you removed a restriction in the carburettor and you suddenly had a useful power hike that made the bike more fun and practical. They were always harder to come by than it’s more common cousin the GP100. I’d buy one.

It reminds me of the Honda H100 which a friend had back in 1990. I quite like any of these old Japanese bikes. I wish I'd never sold my RD.
